Privacy Policy update — “AI에게 묻기” in competency test practice

Posted October 12, 2026 · effective October 19, 2026

The Privacy Policy clause for competency test practice (where offered) is corrected: what is sent to OpenAI (United States) when you use “AI에게 묻기” (the question button you press, the earlier AI answers for the same question and the question you type), what question-error reports collect, and how long questions and answers are kept.

Until the effective date the current Privacy Policy applies. From that date the wording below appears in the Privacy Policy itself.

Corrected clause

3-4. Competency Test Practice (Where Offered)

Detailed feedback: in this section, detailed feedback means three AI results that are produced only when you ask for them on the result report: (1) an interpretation of the whole result (shown in Korean as “AI 상세 해석”), (2) an AI answer about one question you pick, asked with a ready-made question button or with a question you type (“AI에게 묻기”, previously “AI 문항 풀이”), and (3) coaching on an interview-style answer (“AI 답변 첨삭”).

What we collect: when you use competency test practice, we store the following in your account: (1) your answers to the work-style questions; (2) the options you choose in the reasoning and situational-judgement questions; (3) the order you enter in the sequence-memory task; (4) your written answers to the interview-style questions; (5) the time spent on each question, as measured by your browser; (6) the attempt record (the course, question set and mode you chose, and the start, save and submission times) and the result report (scoring and per-area summaries and, if you ask for it, the detailed feedback, the record of which “AI에게 묻기” question buttons you used and the AI answers, with the model that wrote them and when); (7) the question you type in “AI에게 묻기” (up to 200 characters each time); (8) the reason and optional note (up to 200 characters) of a question-error report. We do not collect video or audio.

Why we use it: to score your practice and show the result report, to write the detailed feedback and the “AI에게 묻기” answers when you ask, and to review and improve questions and explanations reported as wrong. The basic scoring, the result report and the similar practice questions (“one more question”) are produced on our servers without an external AI. Question-error reports are not sent to an AI provider. Our legal basis is the performance of our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We do not use these records for advertising or marketing, and we do not give them to AI providers for training their models.

How long we keep it: attempt records and result reports, including any detailed feedback and the questions and answers of “AI에게 묻기”, and question-error reports are kept until you delete your account and are deleted with it. To have them deleted earlier, ask us as described in Section 7. The usage log for detailed feedback and “AI에게 묻기” (feature, model, time and cost) is kept with your account identifier replaced by an irreversible hash, as described in Section 6. It does not contain the content of your questions.

Processors and international transfers: · OpenAI, Inc. (United States): writing the detailed feedback and the “AI에게 묻기” answers. Only when you ask for it on the result report, we send over an API call what the requested result needs. For the interpretation of the whole result: the questions of that attempt with their reference answers and explanations, the answers you chose or wrote (written answers up to the first 1,600 characters per question), whether each answer was correct, and the per-area results (counts of answered and correct questions and their summary sentences). For “AI에게 묻기”: the one question you picked, with its options, the reference answer or practice standard, the explanation and the option you chose (none if you did not answer), which question button you pressed, the AI answers you already received for that question and the question you typed (up to 200 characters). We do not send the content of other questions. For answer coaching: the one interview-style question you asked about, its explanation and the first 1,600 characters of your answer. In none of these do we send your name, email, account ID, the attempt ID or the time spent. Written answers and typed questions are sent exactly as you wrote them, so we suggest leaving names and contact details out. These features use OpenAI only; if processing fails, nothing is sent to another provider. OpenAI keeps what it receives for abuse monitoring for up to 30 days by default and then deletes it (unless the law requires it to be kept longer), and because we do not allow data sharing with OpenAI, what we send is not used to train OpenAI's models. · Turso (a United States company; servers in the Tokyo region of Japan): storing the attempt record and the result report. The safeguards for these transfers and how to decline them are set out in Section 5. If you do not ask for detailed feedback, nothing is sent to OpenAI, and you can still use the practice and the basic result report.

Corrected in Section 4 (Processors & Sub-processors)

· Competency test practice detailed feedback (where offered): OpenAI (API) — only when you ask for it, writes the interpretation of the whole result, the “AI에게 묻기” answers or answer coaching, using only what each needs from the questions of that attempt, the answers you chose or wrote (written answers up to the first 1,600 characters per question), the question you typed in “AI에게 묻기” (up to 200 characters) and the per-area results. Section 3-4 lists what is and is not sent.

Corrected in Section 5 (International Transfers)

If you ask for detailed feedback on competency test practice (the interpretation of the whole result, “AI에게 묻기” or answer coaching), what that result needs from the following is transferred to OpenAI: the questions of that attempt with their reference answers and explanations, the answers you chose or wrote (written answers up to the first 1,600 characters per question), whether each was correct, the per-area results, the question button you pressed in “AI에게 묻기” and the earlier AI answers for the same question, and the question you typed (up to 200 characters). Your name, email and account ID are not transferred. OpenAI keeps them for abuse monitoring for up to 30 days by default and does not use them to train its models.

Before this change: Section 3-4 described item-by-item explanations only as “AI 문항 풀이” for questions you answered but whose answer differs from the reference answer or practice standard, and the question button you press, the earlier AI answers, the question you type and question-error reports were not among the items collected or sent.
